Command Performance Rides Again

COMMAND PERFORMANCE RIDES AGAIN

It wasn’t a sure thing we would see Command Performance get a shot at the 2013 boating season due to a pesky issue surrounding the starboard exhaust manifold. Without going into detail, let’s just say because of the engine room build, taking a new aftermarket manifold was not an option from what we were able to determine. And yet we had a crossover passage that had developed a breach.

With some inventive repairs, using blocker plates, we were able to put CP back into operation, but not before discovering a stuck valve. Not to be out done, Glassic Boatworks took on the repairs, doing all the research, the legwork and wrench turning.

Thanks to Lee for keeping this old girl, and her aging mechanics in operable condition. We couldn’t boat without him!

Now….onto a great season of fun on the water (and to a good deal of work making her presentable).
